The Fees
Anaesthetic Fees are applied in one of three ways:
Self-pay : anaesthetic fees are paid by you (the patient) direct to Bath Anaesthetic Group
Fixed price : anaesthetic fees are included within the ‘package price’ you pay to the Hospital
Insured : your insurance company will pay all or part of our fee, often leaving you with an excess to pay to us.
For insured patients
Insurance companies will pay a certain ‘benefit’ to their customers for each procedure. Since insurers and individual policies vary, we strongly advise you to contact your insurer before your admission in order to clarify whether or not they will cover the full cost of your anaesthetic.
Bath Anaesthetic Group LLP are fully compliant with the guideline: Anaesthetic Practice in the Independent Sector produced in 2018 by the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland.
